About the materials
For each of the seven chapters in the book you can find the materials listed below. Some of these documents (such as the worksheets and lesson plans) are provided in Word documents so that you can make any amendments you wish. These materials are for teacher use only and so are password protected. To access these materials, you need to apply for a password.
- Lesson plans with downloadable handouts. You can either print these handouts or they can be completed by students onscreen.
- Worksheets: These are provided in two formats:
- One version of the worksheets has blank spaces left for answers so that students can write on them (or, again, complete them on computer by typing their answers into the sheet).
- We've also provided a version of the worksheets without spaces if you prefer students to write their answers on separate sheets of paper or in an exercise book.
- Answer sheets: You'll find all the answers to activities in the textbook, and answers to the Matching Exercises and Multiple Choice Quizzes.
- Diagrams and images from the textbook: For you to use in your own PowerPoints, OHPs or handouts.
- Internet Activities with downloadable handouts in Word. As with the worksheets, answers can be typed directly into the Word document whilst the students are working online.
All the handouts and worksheets, as well as the internet activities, also appear on the student side of the site so that you can set these as homework, or refer students directly to the site without having to print out instructions or handouts.
